The online shops of the five renowned beer brands Bitburger, König Pilsener, Licher, Köstritzer, and Benediktiner Weißbräu offer beer enthusiasts an extensive range of products that includes not only a variety of beers but also beer glasses, barbecue accessories, fan clothing, and much more.
After implementing the Gastro Portal, we were commissioned to also migrate these brand shops and add extended features such as voucher systems and a deposit accounting system. During the migration, we refreshed the design of the Bitburger shop and optimized accessibility in all shops to ensure an inclusive shopping experience for all users.

Besides providing beverages, the Gastro Portal supports restaurateurs in business start-ups and financing of gastronomy objects, offers access to a broad network of over 2,500 beverage wholesalers for best product availability, and inspires through innovative concept factory ideas. Additionally, targeted measures and digital services are offered to increase restaurateurs' revenue and improve the customer experience. From draft technology that ensures perfectly tapped results to the gastronomy academy that imparts valuable knowledge - the Gastro Portal stands by restaurateurs as a holistic partner, ensuring a strong presence in the gastronomy sector with diverse equipment and innovative solutions.
As part of our collaboration, the Gastro Portal was migrated to the powerful Shopware framework to ensure a seamless, efficient, and user-friendly online shopping experience. This migration enabled us to provide extended functionalities that meet the specific needs of restaurateurs. A key feature we implemented is the Single-Sign-On solution (SSO), which enables smooth integration of the Gastro Portal into the existing digital infrastructure of the Bitburger Brewing Group.

Single-Sign-On Authentication
For the gastronomy portal and various professional solutions of the Bitburger Brewery Group, we implemented a central SSO solution. This allows B2B customers to log in once and then seamlessly switch between all professional applications without having to re-authenticate. This not only significantly improves the user experience, but also simplifies the management of business customer accounts and reduces support effort.
